Smart Bed^TM – this patented innovation, the first of its kind in the world, is here to minimize the risk of patients who are prone to falling off the beds. The system will detect a patient who attempts to get out of bed; immediately sending out a signal thereby alerting for help in time to prevent any unwanted falls. This system enhances nursing care services and the quality of lives in hospitals, nursing homes, communal homes, hospice, healthcare centres and private homes.
 
Smart Bed^TM system boasts a reliable sensor system with built-in features to detect the presence of the patient on bed. Whenever a patient intends to get off the bed, it will trigger alert via SMS, visual, sound modes to healthcare/homecare personnel.

This Smart Bed^TM system comprises the Monitoring & Alert Unit and the Sensor Unit. The Sensor Unit is placed below the mattress to detect the movement of patient in bed. Signals from the sensor are being monitored by the Monitoring & Alert Unit. The latter will process all sensors signals and will trigger alert via SMS or buzz sound will be activated together with the flashing light whenever any patient attempts to get off the bed.
 
The Smart Bed^TM system is ergonomic and easy to install using the concept of D.I.Y - plug and use; portable and manoeuvrable for ease of cleaning, dismantling and storage.

	Detects Movement from Patients The Smart Bed detects movements when the patient attempts to get down the bed by having effectively positioned sensors. This will trigger the Alert Unit in the system to go off.
	Light Alert Light Alert will be displayed outside the room. Any nurse on duty can immediately know which is the room where the patient requires help.
	SMS Alert Alternatively, the nurse on duty will receive SMS alert to notify them of the room and bed where the patient requires help.
	Immediate Response The patient then gets immediate response to assist him in getting out of the bed, thus preventing a fall.
	System Management With a system management monitoring all the wards and beds,, the nurse on duty can immediately get an overview of the patients situation on the screen.

Pocket spring sensor, high quality nylon cover, enable/disable button, electronic control, UPS and light alert.
